However, the former Benfica star suffered what appeared to be a thigh injury against Crystal Palace last weekend, and it is one which seems to be quite a serious one according to his manager.
Impressively, the 24-year-old played on against the Eagles as all three subs had been used, and even managed to outpace Jordan Ayew and win the ball whilst contesting with the forward and Patrick van Aanholt.
