da spicy bet: Loads of Celtic fans have been giving their verdict on the inevitable transfer saga that will surround Dedryck Boyata in January, and over half of fans think the Belgian is worth no more than £10m.
Boyata has blotted his copybook far beyond point of no return as far as some Celtic fans are concerned, as the defender reportedly refused to take part in the Bhoys’ Champions League qualifiers.
Brendan Rodgers could only watch on in horror as Jack Hendry and the rest of the defence capitulated against AEK Athens, and the Bhoys will surely have to invest heavily at the back next summer.

Boyata has actually been one of the side’s better players since he returned to action, but he is unlikely to renew his contract, which runs out next summer.
While it will be difficult to get a big sum for a player entering the last six months of his deal, the Bhoys will be hoping a bidding war can drive the price up, as there won’t be many 11-cap internationals with Champions League experience on the market in January.
Fans aren’t optimistic though, suspecting the club’s inability to tie the defender down to a longer deal limits his value to £10m.
