From Pogba ignoring Mourinho to Jordan Pickford’s celebration and Mo Salah getting subbed, take a look at the moments you missed from this week’s Premier League action.
Salah Subbed
With Liverpool 1-0 down at Stamford Bridge, Jurgen Klopp made a controversial substitution of his own, by bringing Mo Salah off on the 66th minute,
Last season, Salah was only brought off once the game was won, was this the first sign of Klopp showing that he is unhappy with the Egyptian’s efforts on the pitch.
Sturridge Statement
With Liverpool fans still confused with the Salah substitution, up-stepped Daniel Sturridge to grab the all important equaliser with a stunning long range effort.
Sarri And Klopp Smiling
After his side conceded a late goal, it was surprising to see Maurizo Sarri enjoying a laugh with Jurgen Klopp after the final whistle. But in his post-match press conference Sarri told of how much he enjoyed the game:
“I had a smile at the end with Jürgen Klopp because I enjoyed it. The match was beautiful.
“I am happy with the performance and disappointed they scored in the last moments, but the draw was a deserved result.”
Everton’s Incredible Record
You shouldn’t always rely on facts when it comes to Premier League football, but one thing that you can count on, Everton beating Fulham.
Marco Silva’s men won 3-0 at Goodison Park thanks to goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Cenk Tosun. The win means the Toffees have now won 22 consecutive Premier League games against their West London opponents at home.
Fosu-Mensah Agony
There was more bad news for Fulham who will be without their Man United loanee Timothy Fosu-Mensah for four months after suffering a suspected dislocated shoulder.
It is expected that Fosu-Mensah will return back to United for treatment.
Pickford Fist Pump
After signing a bumper new contract with the Toffees during the week, Jordan Pickford put in a stellar performance in goal on Saturday to keep out Fulham.
In one particular moment Pickford was caught giving himself a celebratory fist pump after denying Luciano Vietto.
