da lvbet: Liverpool will have to go head-to-head with Borussia Dortmund in order to sign Rubin Kazan forward Salomon Rondon, The Express reports.
da apostaganha: The 23-year-old Venezuelan has moved onto Brendan Rodgers’ radar as Liverpool prepare for what will seemingly become a life without Luis Suarez.
Dortmund appear to have a somewhat similar train of thought with regards to preparing for the possible departure of Robert Lewandowski.
Spanish newspaper Marca suggests that Dortmund have already enquired about a price for Rondon and that they would want at least £8.7million to recover what they spent on purchasing him from Malaga in August last year.
Meanwhile, in Liverpool’s search for attacking reinforcements, Luis Muriel has also come into the fray.
Udinese’s 22-year-old from Colombia is highly-rated and likened to Brazilian legend Ronaldo. He spent two seasons on loan at Granada and Lecce before returning to compete for a place at Udinese last season.
In terms of the experience brought by both Rondon and Muriel, the former has made 161 professional appearances, scoring 54 goals. The latter has made 73, scoring 29.
Both have international experience, with Rondon having played 28 times for Venezuela and Muriel having played three times for an emerging Colombian side.
