Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain spent the final few seasons of his Arsenal career on the fringes.
The midfielder struggled to maintain a place in Arsene Wenger’s first team, and positioning seemed to be an issue.
For the majority of his six years at the North London outfit, Oxlade-Chamberlain was played as a winger, and prior to his January switch to Liverpool, the England international took on a wing-back role.
Since moving to Anfield, the 24-year-old has regular featured in the wide areas, but he has also been given more freedom under manager Jurgen Klopp.

After a slow start to his career on Merseyside, Oxlade-Chamberlain is now finding his feet and has been influential in recent fixtures.
On Wednesday night, the midfielder scored a thunderbolt of a goal in a 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
The strike, as well as his overall performance, caught the attention of Arsenal fans, who initially thought that selling Oxlade-Chamberlain was the right call.
Some have changed their tune after witnessing their former player’s display on Wednesday evening.
