Robbie Fowler has always been an entertainer on and off the pitch. These images more than enhance his reputation!
A bizarre thing to emerge over the summer has been Fowler in a number of pictures using his brute strength to carry various personalities he has been associated with throughout his career. The latest lucky recipient of a piggy back ride has been none other than Stoke City and former Liverpool giant Peter Crouch. You’ll probably agree it’s quite an eye-catching image with the big 6 foot 7 man on Fowler’s shoulders. You would think a man of this height wouldn’t need help ascending any more but Fowler has clearly obliged to his request for a picture on his soldiers. By the looks of it Crouch is having the time of his life but one of his monstrous legs could have easily swung round and took a fellow drinker out cold. I’m sure that would have made for an even funnier picture!
As Fowler enjoyed time away with ex-pros over the summer, the frequency of the piggy back rides increased. Over the hot period former England teammates Ian Wright and the rather large David Seaman were also pictured on the back of the man Liverpool fans simply refer to as ‘God’. One of the most random recipients of Fowler’s services is current Liverpool Director of Football Ian Ayre.
The question coming out from this is who will be the lucky man or woman to ride the Fowler express? Michael Owen perhaps?
