da stake casino: Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to reveal some pretty harsh words for Cedric, despite watching their side gain another crucial three points with a 2-1 win over Norwich.
da doce: The victory means that Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men have now earned six points out of a possible six against relegation rivals Watford and the Canaries, with Wednesday night’s result moving them out of the drop zone.
While that may lighten the mood around St Mary’s, one lingering cloud of negativity surrounds one Southampton player – Cedric Soares.
The Portugal international played every minute of the Saints’ vital win, but was especially sloppy against Daniel Farke’s men, completing just 63.6% of his 22 passes.
Cedric – who recently spoke to The Telegraph about his plans to leave Southampton at the end of the season – has still come in for some criticism despite the three points.
One supporter said that the sooner the club can find a replacement for the 28-year-old, the better, as the full-back offers “literally nothing”.
Additionally, another fan said that the former Sporting CP man is the “worst player in this football club”, and begged for Yan Valery to start playing ahead of him.
Elsewhere, the supporter below also expressed a desire to see the Portuguese ace leave St Mary’s – it really doesn’t appear as if the right-back is a popular figure on the south coast.
This fan said that, other than pace, they don’t know what Cedric has to offer, whilst adding that Valery is “not the answer” until he sorts out his positioning – they then went on to question the potential chance of a new right-back arriving in January.
Lastly, this fan said that their “only negative” from the 2-1 victory could be found in “everything” to do with Cedric, highlighting this one supporter’s deep dislike for the diminutive defender.
